After graduating from high school I attended the University of British Columbia where I completed a Bachelor of Arts with the major in Political Science and a minor in Economics. From there I went to the University of Saskatchewan for law school and graduated with a Juris Doctor.
While in law school I became interested in technology and what it could do. I started seeking out opportunities to learn more. This included things like how the internet works and the basics of HTML and CSS.
Shortly after graduating from law school I heard that a legal tech startup was hiring law grads. It was the perfect chance to bring these interests together. I got the job and have been working in a legal research capacity in legal tech since.
